Can The Performance Of Fluorine Rubber Plate Be Used At High Temperature?

(1) Viton sheets can work at high temperatures, providing better physical and mechanical properties than most other elastomers. The increase in temperature has a relatively small impact on the oil and chemical resistance of fluororubber. Even after continuous aging at 204 ℃ or intermittent aging in an oven at 260 ℃, the fluororubber still maintains a certain elasticity. The service condition at high temperature is usually 232 ℃ × 3000h、260℃ × 100h、288℃ × 240h、316℃ × 48h。       
(2) The general temperature for using fluororubber under dynamic conditions can be as low as - 18 to - 23 ℃, but the temperature for using specific rubber compounds under static conditions can be as low as - 54 ℃. Experiments have shown that the performance of fluororubber sheets is satisfactory when used as static sealing products under conditions near absolute zero.        
(3) Among all industrialized elastomers, fluororubber has better resistance to liquids and chemical media than any non fluoroelastomer. It has excellent oil resistance, aviation fuel resistance, lubricant resistance, and resistance to most mineral oils. Fluororubber has a very low permeability to most substances, and also has excellent performance in terms of low oxidation resistance automotive fuel penetration. Aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons are solvents for general elastomers, but fluororubber sheet rubbers have excellent durability for them.       
(4) Even at high temperatures, fluororubber sheet rubber still has excellent compression set properties.        
(5) Excellent resistance to atmospheric, light, and oxidative aging, good resistance to mold and fungi, good electrical performance when used at low pressure and low frequency, and better inherent flame retardant performance than non fluoroelastomer.
