FFKM Raw Rubber
FFKM-N is a high temperature perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) which is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoromethylvinylether (TFE+PMVE+ CSM). FFKM-N based rubbers demonstrate excellent chemical resistance in a wide range of aggressive substances including inorganic and organic acids, alkalies, most of polar solvents, amines.
FFKM Compound
FFKM perfluorinated rubber is an elastomer material that contains more fluorine than FKM fluorinated rubber and has a higher temperature rating, ranging from -30℃ to +325℃. Because of its excellent properties, FFKM perfluorinated rubber is often used as the preferred material for O-ring, gasket or other sealing solutions in environments with high temperature or harsh chemicals in aerospace, semiconductor, energy, pharmaceutical and industrial industries.

Polymerization Process
Polymerization produces the continuous chain of monomers of the fluoroelastomers. During polymerization, the unvulcanized monomer, isoprene, is subjected to different oxidizing or reducing agents under various hot (50°C) or cold temperatures (5°C) conditions.
Processing Stage
The processing stage involves grinding or masticating the polymerized FFKM rubber and then mixing it with additives, dyes, fillers, reactive compounds, or processing aids. Afterward, the rubber or elastomer undergoes extrusion or molding before hardening it through curing or vulcanization.
Post-Processing Stage
The post-processing stage is the point where we properly examine and test the perfluoroelastomer for outgassing or contaminants or impurities that could hamper the quality of the FFKM rubber strap 20mm compound produced.
The post-processing stage is subdivided into post-curing and quality control.
● Handle in well-ventilated areas.
● Fumes must not be inhaled.
● Eye and skin contact must be avoided. In case of skin and eye contact wash with water immediately and seek medical help.
● Smoking is prohibited.
● Do not use metallic particulate as mixing agent as it can decompose at high temperature.
● Store away from heat, keep in clean and dry area.
