► Fluorosilicone rubber sheet is often used in applications where extreme temperatures, fuel, oil, and other chemicals have an effect as it is known to resist attack from these materials. It is also resistant to harsh weather conditions and ozone attack. Typical applications include oil  seals,  gaskets, high temperature hoses, fuel lines, and aircraft fuel systems. It's also often used for valve cover gaskets, bearing pads, weather stripping, and sheet stock for molded rubber goods. It is particularly useful in the automotive industry.

 

► Fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ), also known as γ-trifluoropropylmethyl polysiloxane, generally introduces 0.2% to 0.4% vinyl siloxane copolymerization modification into the molecular chain, and is  colorless, transparent, highly viscous and plastic. Chain polymer compound, the main chain is composed of silicon and oxygen atoms, the side groups connected to silicon are methyl,  vinyl and trifluoropropyl, and the molecular weight is between 500,000 and 800,000. With various additives, it can be mixed into a homogeneous rubber material, and can be vulcanized into various elastic rubber products under the action of organic peroxides. In addition to the characteristics of general silicone rubber, it also has excellent resistance to aviation fuel oil, hydraulic pressure Oil, engine oil, chemical reagents and solvents and other properties. On the basis of maintaining the heat resistance, cold resistance, high voltage resistance, weather aging resistance and other  excellent performances of organic silicon materials, fluorosilicone O-rings have the excellent resistance of organic fluorine materials due to the introduction of fluorine-containing groups.
