Details

FFKM perfluorinated rubber is an elastomer material that contains more fluorine than FKM fluorinated rubber and has a higher temperature rating, ranging from -30℃ to +325℃. Because of its excellent properties, FFKM perfluorinated rubber is often used as the preferred material for O-ring, gasket or other sealing solutions in environments with high temperature or harsh chemicals in aerospace, semiconductor, energy, pharmaceutical and industrial industries.

The unique properties of this material are ideal for demanding sealing applications and help maintain high quality parts sealing integrity, thereby reducing maintenance, operating costs and improving safety.

FFKM is used in a range of aerospace, semiconductor, and automotive parts. It is a critical component for industries such as fuel systems, oil and gas, fire protection, and pharmaceuticals. It is an ideal material for airplane parts such as fuel systems, seals, and hoses due to its durability and excellent temperature performance.

FFKM product

Perfluoroelastomer can be processed by a variety of methods such as injection molding, extrusion, and transfer molding. It can also be machined with conventional EDM (electrical discharge machines) equipment, mills and lathes, or shaped processes such as calendaring or compression molding. It is also important to ensure that the material is heated up properly to ensure the best possible performance and finish.
