Sponge rubber. Vulcanized rubber with a sponge-like porous structure. It can be divided into open-cell, closed-cell, mixed-cell and micro-cell. It can be made into soft rubber or hard rubber products. It is light, soft, elastic and not easy to conduct heat. It has the functions of shock absorption, impact mitigation, heat insulation and sound insulation.
It is made of synthetic rubber and has the characteristics of oil resistance, aging resistance and chemical resistance. It is widely used in industries such as automobiles, aircraft, chemicals, and daily necessities as insulation, sound insulation and shockproof materials, as well as seat cushions, mattresses, medical equipment, sanitary products, sports goods, etc. It can be made by adding a foaming agent (such as ammonium carbonate, urea, azobisisobutyronitrile, etc.) or concentrated latex to raw rubber, stirring and blowing air into it, and then vulcanizing it. This is a finished sponge rubber product and is widely used in various industries.
